QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES
MORE LAND!- More land is coming to the Kingdom!
- Two (2) new plots of land will be available in the Expedition Everest Zone
- One (1) plot of land will be unlocked by progressing through the Kingdom Quest storyline
- One (1) plot of land will be unlocked at the start of Update 72
- Adjacent plot needs to be cleared for this plot to be unlocked
TOKEN FINDER IMPROVEMENTS- Activities can now be started from the Token Finder
- Multiple activities can be started from the Token Finder using the “Send All” button
- Characters can be returned to the Kingdom from the Token Finder
- The Token Finder page will be separated into two main Token Source categories: Character Activities and Other Items
CHARACTER ACTIVITIES
- Tokens that can be acquired through Characters completing certain activities will be shown in this category
- Available Characters can be sent on activities from the Token Finder by selecting the “Go” button beside the activity
- Once sent on an activity, the status of the Character Activity will be changed to “In progress”
- Characters in Storage will show the “Send Home” icon and its status will appear as “Sent Home”
- When selecting a Character in Storage, a pop-up will appear to send the Character back to the Kingdom to start the Activity
- Character status will be changed to “In progress”
- Locked Characters will be displayed with a greyed out “Go” button
- Characters may be locked due to having additional requirements to the activity
- Additional requirements will be displayed under the Character Activity
- Busy Characters will be indicated by the busy state on the “Go” button as well as set the Character status to “Busy”
- Selecting the ‘Go” button will show the activity pop-up which will allow the option to skip the activity for gems
- “Send All” button will send all available Characters on the activity associated with the selected Token
OTHER ITEMS

- Selecting “Go” beside the Other Token Sources will direct you to the source location in the Shop or in the Kingdom
BALANCING CHANGES
Why do we rebalance the game? Disney Magic Kingdoms is a game with many interconnected systems. Since our initial launch, we have added a lot of new features and content, and each time we do this, it can significantly affect how these systems interact with each other. To ensure that the gameplay experience remains as intended, we are sometimes required to make balancing changes. Ultimately, rebalancing the game is necessary so that Disney Magic Kingdoms is fun and enjoyable for all. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
SEASON CHANGES
For Season 5, we're focusing our efforts on two main areas. The first one being a continuation of the changes regarding the engagement required to obtain Happiness, the second one targets the rewards on the pass in an attempt to add a bit of excitement throughout the completion of the Season Pass.
The following free reward tiers have been changed:
- Tier 25: Attraction Enchantment Chest has been replaced by Legendary Chest (Luca)
- Tier 75: Attraction Enchantment Chest has been replaced by Legendary Chest (Moana)
- Tier 100: Concession Chest replaced by Legendary Chest (Lilo & Stitch)
Daily Tasks
Our main goal with the Daily Tasks is to have them in a spot where they can be completed within a couple play-sessions by the majority of players, whether they're advanced or have recently had access to the Season Pass feature. The changes introduced with Season 4 have shown promising results on that front but an extra tweak is required for the "Complete 15 Character Activities" Task. We are therefore switching the difficulty ranking of it with the "quick-to-complete" "Convert 3 items into Elixir using Merlin's Cauldron" Task.
The following Daily Tasks have been adjusted:
"Complete X Character Activities":
- Goal changed from 15 to 10
- Reward changed from 20 to 10 Happiness
"Convert X items into Elixir using Merlin's Cauldron":
- Goal changed from 3 to 4
- Reward changed from 10 to 20 Happiness
Weekly Tasks
The changes introduced in Season 4 have been greatly beneficial to the system, but more progress can be made to reduce the challenge of keeping up with the Weekly Tasks. We're therefore continuing in that direction and are reducing the goals of the majority of Tasks, with an extra emphasis on the "Complete X Activities of Y hours or more" suite.
