WHAT’S NEW

Bring a little pixie dust and Mardi Gras sparkle to your Kingdom. Enjoy a Mardi Gras Story Pass inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog - with Tiana and Ray at the heart of the celebration. Later in February, the limited-time Disney Fairies Mini Event arrives, featuring Rosetta, Silvermist, and Vidia. Music, parades, and bayou charm set the mood for a magical refresh this month.

Story Pass is a 15-day-long event, where you can progress through the exciting interactive story, unlock new details and valuable rewards, including a new character for The Princess and the Frog collection, Ray, and the Adventurer Costume for Tiana (Premium Line).

Dreamland Quest – March 2nd – March 7th

Dreamland Quest is a short event, where you can get lots of free rewards, including a Legendary Chest of your choice.

Select your own main reward and switch it if you want to;
Tap a cell to see a task you need to complete;
Complete tasks in the cells to claim a reward and unlock a fragment;
Complete a row or a column to open a chest;
Complete all tasks to unlock the Main Reward and open the image.

Tasks Include:

Start 8 parades
Convert 15 items using Merlin’s Cauldron
Open 35 chests
Complete 12 character wishes
Collect magic from Attractions 15 times
Skip 240 minutes
Complete 6 attraction wishes
Gain 2500 happiness

Quality of Life Changes

Story Pass Improvements

Starting with this update, you’ll be able to see a visible Compass counter that tracks your progress toward the next goal. We’ve also added new animations to enhance the overall visual experience.
When purchasing the Premium Story Pass, you can now view a clear preview of the premium rewards. To see the full list of rewards along with their quantities, simply click the “Show All Rewards” button.
The character frame on the Busy Characters screen now displays the number of Compasses the character provides (if there are any for this activity).

Costume Rewards

With this update, you’ll be able to obtain Costumes (through bundles or event rewards) even if you don’t yet own the corresponding character. The costume will be added to your collection, but you won’t be able to equip it until you unlock that character. Once you do, whether from Legendary Chests, bundles, or event rewards, you’ll be able to equip the costume right away.

Leaderboard Rewards Improvements

The Leaderboard rewards now include up to 5 rewards.

Elixir Exposure Improvements

Some new players may have been confused by Elixirs if they haven’t reached the Merlin’s Cauldron tutorial yet.
To address this, a “+” button has been added to all Elixir displays, allowing players to easily access Merlin’s Cauldron. Additional information will also be shown for players who haven’t unlocked the feature yet.

Balancing Changes

Why do we rebalance the game? Disney Magic Kingdoms is a game with many interconnected systems. Since our initial launch, we have added a lot of new features and content, and each time we do this, it can significantly affect how these systems interact with each other. To ensure that the gameplay experience remains as intended, we are sometimes required to make balancing changes. Ultimately, rebalancing the game is necessary so that Disney Magic Kingdoms is fun and enjoyable for all. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Expansions

Radiator Springs Racers Zone:

In this update, you will be able to unlock a new piece of the Radiator Springs Racers Land. To clear these Lands from the Curse, you will need to get Dreamsparks:

Progress through the Mini Event. The following character quests will provide Dreamsparks:
